I know I've neglected to write for a few days, I sort of gave myself a long weekend away from my laptop.  Well, admittedly I did play Sims a bit, but I steered clear of forms, novel writing, emails, and the USCIS website for a few days. 

Today I feel that I would give anything for a job.  Almost any job at this point.  It is excruciating to find things to "busy" myself each day.  It sounds like a dream come true, but it's awful and all I want to do is go shopping.  My poor husband.  Thankfully, I can say I have not caved to my shopping addictions in days.  Last week, however, I did buy glittery indigo nail polish at Walmart while I was supposed to be getting dog food.  Why would they put those two aisles next to each other?

The German language class I had been eagerly anticipating was cancelled due to toxic fumes in the building.  Oddly enough there were police officers standing guard inside the building to keep us out.  And the rain has started.  The Weather Channel posted a "Special Weather Statement" saying that this was "the first sustained period of cool...damp fall weather will continue through much of the coming week."  So there will be no work in the graveyard of a garden, less bike ridding, and more use of my Hunters.  C'est la vie.

Se que he dejado de escribir algunos días, me di una vacación de mi portátil.  Bueno, sí que jugué un poco al Sims, pero me alejé de formularios, escritura de novela, emails, y el sitio del web de inmigración.

Hoy yo daría lo que sea para tener trabajo.  Casi cualquiera tipo de trabajo.  Es duro buscar algo para “distraerme” cada día.  Parece un sueño hecho realidad, pero es terrible y solo quiero ir de compras.  Mi pobre esposo.  Gracias a un esfuerzo puedo decir que no he cedido a mi adicción a comprar por muchas días.  La semana pasada, sin embargo, yo me compré pinta uñas con purpurina del color índigo en Walmart mientras debería haber estado buscando comida del perro.  ¿Porqué han puesto esas cosas tan cercas?

La clase de alemán, la que he estado esperando emocionada, fue cancelada por causa de gases tóxicas en el edificio.  Lo que me parecía raro fue los dos policías guardando el edificio dede adentro para que no nos entramos.  Y la lluvia ha empezado.  El Canal del Tiempo ha puesto una “Declaración Especial del Tiempo” que dice que eso fue “el primero periodo fresco sostenido...tiempo húmedo del otoño seguirá por mucho del la semana que viene.”  O sea, que no habrá trabajo en el jardín que parece cementerio de plantas, menos montar en bici, y mas uso de mis Hunters (botas).  C’est la vie.
